This shawl is hand-spun and hand-woven in Ladakh. It is woven in a twill weave with a wavy design. It is made from soft lambswool from our nomadic team in Changthang in Ladakh. The lambswool is taken once of the young sheep at an age of around 7 months and has a fiber length of 50mm. Therefore it is soft and elastic. The throw has a heavy weight so it's perfect for the couch or as a runner on the bed.
